Eligibility Criteria for Diploma & Engineering in PRIT

Qualification Should have passed class 10th or 12th
Minimum Marks Candidates should have obtained 40% marks in the qualifying examination. (Note: Minimum marks can vary from institute to institute)

Admission Procedure & Eligibility Criteria

For- Admission to 3 Years Diploma Course :

• Candidate should have obtained atleast 35% in Matriculation (1Othl withmathematics &Science.
• JCECB : Every year Govt. of Jharkhand conducts common entrance examination foradmission in various Diploma & Engineering Colleges locatedinJharkhand. For- Admission to 2-Years Diploma Course under vocational to Diploma Program :

Candidate should have passed Intermediate Vocational Examinationwith anyone of the subjects : Computer Science, Electronics Technology, Radio TV Technician, Automobile Engg &Technician,Mining Geology.

OR

Candidate should have passed Matriculation Examination along with 2-Year ITIProg.

OR

Candidate should have passed 10+2 (Science) / I.Sc. with Mathematics

Age Limit

There is no minimum & maximum age determined for Diploma Engineering Courses except Mining Engineering for which the minimum age must be 17 years on 1July of admission year.
