Admission Procedure - B.Tech Program
Welcome to the B.Tech Admission process at Pemiya Rishikesh Institute of Technology (PRIT). The institute offers B.Tech programs in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining and Computer Science & Engineering, affiliated to JUT (Jharkhand University of Technology) and approved by AICTE.

As per AICTE norms for B.Tech admission
B.Tech 1st Semester (Direct Entry)
Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) in the Science stream with the following minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM):
And must have cleared any one of the following competitive examinations:
- JEE-Mains conducted by the CBSE
Lateral Entry - B.Tech 3rd Semester
For each branch, vacant seats are open to candidates seeking lateral admission to the 3rd Semester who have completed:
Conducted by the State Council of Technical Education, Jharkhand
From a recognized university
Document Retention
Original documents will be retained by the college authority until verification is complete. Candidates are advised to keep photocopies of all submitted documents for their own records.
Reservation Policy
Seat reservation at PRIT is strictly as per State Government Norms of Jharkhand. Candidates from reserved categories (SC / ST / OBC) must submit valid caste and residential certificates at the time of admission.
