Facilities
The department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, high-speed internet and modern computing infrastructure to support the full B.Tech CSE curriculum.
Programming Lab
High-performance workstations running Linux and Windows with IDEs including VS Code, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA and Dev-C++. Supports C, C++, Java, Python, and shell scripting courses. Equipped with 40+ systems and networked for collaborative project work and online judge access.
Networking Lab
Cisco routers, managed switches, patch panels, network racks and cable testers for hands-on computer network courses. Students configure LAN/WAN topologies, routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP), VLANs, firewall rules and VPN setups using both physical equipment and Cisco Packet Tracer.
AI / ML Lab
GPU-enabled workstations with NVIDIA CUDA support, Python 3.x, Jupyter Notebook, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, OpenCV and Keras. Students build and train classification, regression, NLP and computer vision models, supporting final-year capstone and research projects.
Web Technology Lab
Dedicated servers and workstations for full-stack development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express and MongoDB/MySQL. Students deploy projects on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure free tier) and practise version control with Git and GitHub.
Database Lab
Systems equipped with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle XE, MongoDB and SQL Server. Covers relational database design, SQL/PL-SQL, NoSQL operations, query optimisation, normalisation, transaction management and database application development exercises aligned with DBMS coursework.
Project Lab
A dedicated space for third and fourth-year project teams equipped with collaborative workstations, a project server, whiteboard walls, prototyping tools and IoT kits (Raspberry Pi, Arduino). Mentored by senior faculty for mini-projects and final-year B.Tech capstone projects.
